Replaced two toilets, one had issues with broken flange which cost more due to added labor/ time and (Chris) updated me before doing any of the work. Very transparent, responsive to texted and phone calls, on time, and would reccomend to others.

Mother Plumbing installed two toilets and three faucets for me two months ago. Since then, there have been no leaks or wobbles, which speaks to the quality of their work. Check out the picture of the wall mounted toilet. They also coordinated well with my carpenters to get everything done efficiently and on schedule. I did forget to ask them to adjust the temperature governor on the shower, but overall, I’m very happy with the results. I highly recommend Mother Plumbing

We needed a toilet replaced. Called Mother! This was our first experience with them. Excellent communications and customer service! Scheduling was easy, gave a 2-hour window for arrival, and Josh arrived on time for both visits; was very professional. During the install he took care not to damage floor/walls and did a great job. Highly recommend this company!

Very impressed with this company. Tyler was the technician that initially came out and recommended that I replace a toilet that wasn’t working well. Since the other toilets were old and some parts starting to show wear, I also decided to replace them. The next day, Bryan came out and replaced three toilets. He did a super job and left the work areas spotless. I would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs

Toilet Replacement in Fort Worth: High-Performance Solutions for Hard Water Homes

A toilet that runs at 2 AM isn’t just annoying. It is a sign that Fort Worth’s water is slowly destroying your home’s fixtures. When mineral deposits take over, a simple repair is often just a temporary patch. You need a permanent solution that stops the waste and restores the functionality of your bathroom.

Mother Modern Plumbing provides expert toilet replacement throughout Fort Worth. We evaluate the health of your plumbing infrastructure and install fixtures built to handle our local water chemistry. We show you exactly what failed and why, then replace it with a unit that works- whether it’s “like for like” or a smart toilet upgrade.

Call Mother 24/7 for new toilet installation in Fort Worth.

Signals Your Toilet is Losing the Mineral War

  • Phantom Flushes: If your toilet tank refills on its own when no one has touched it, your flapper or fill valve has likely been compromised by mineral scale.
  • Persistent Running: A toilet that never stops running can waste up to 200 gallons of water a day. In Fort Worth. This is caused by calcium buildup preventing a proper seal.
  • Frequent Clogs: Older toilets often have small trapways that narrow as mineral deposits accumulate. If plunging has become a weekly chore, the fixture is the problem.
  • Visible Porcelain Cracks: A crack in the tank or bowl is a structural failure. Porcelain cracks cannot be repaired and can lead to a sudden, catastrophic flood in your bathroom.
  • Permanent Staining and Scale: When mineral deposits etch into the glaze, the surface becomes rough. This harbors bacteria and makes the toilet nearly impossible to keep clean.

Why Fort Worth Water Attacks Your Commode

photos of new toilet installation in small bathroom in fort worth, tx home, mother modern plumbing

Fort Worth water comes from surface sources like Lake Worth and Eagle Mountain Lake. It carries a heavy load of minerals, typically ranging from 8 to 12 GPG. While this hard water is safe for your family, it acts like a slow-motion wrecking ball inside your toilet tank.

Calcium and magnesium crystallize on the rubber flapper, making it stiff and leaky. These same minerals clog the tiny rim jets that provide the flush power to clean the bowl. A toilet in a soft water city might last 25 years. In Fort Worth, we often see internal parts fail in under 10-15 years, with the porcelain surface showing permanent damage shortly after.

Fort Worth Neighborhoods Where Toilet Replacement is Common

  • Fairmount: Many historic homes here have toilets from the 1980s or earlier. These older models use up to 7 gallons per flush. Replacing these with modern 1.28 gallon models can save the average household over 4,000 gallons of water every year.
  • Coventry Hills: Homes built in the late 1990s often feature "contractor special" toilets. After 25 years of North Texas water, these units are hitting a wall. We replace these with high-velocity models that prevent the recurring clogs common in 90s builds.
  • Overton Woods: This luxury enclave often seeks the latest in home comfort. We specialize in installing integrated smart toilets that offer heated seats, automated flushing, and advanced hygiene features.

What to Expect During a Mother Replacement

We treat every replacement as an infrastructure upgrade. Our process ensures the new unit is perfectly integrated with your home.

  1. Rough-In and Floor Check: We measure the distance from the wall to the drain to ensure a perfect fit. We also check the subfloor for moisture damage, which is common in older pier-and-beam homes.
  2. Surgical Removal: We drain the old unit, disconnect the supply, and scrape the old wax ring completely clean to prepare the surface.
  3. Flange Inspection: We verify that the drain flange is secure and level. If it is corroded or cracked, we fix it before the new toilet goes down.
  4. The Precision Set: We install a new high-integrity wax ring and set the toilet. We use hand-calibrated tightening on the closet bolts to ensure a leak-free seal without cracking the porcelain.
  5. Multi-Point Testing: We perform several flush tests to verify the bowl clears perfectly and that there is zero moisture at the base.

The Rise of the Smart Toilet and Bidet

Modern bathrooms in Fort Worth are shifting toward wellness and efficiency. Mother’s technicians are experts in installing sought-after smart toilet systems from brands like TOTO, Woodbridge, and BioBidet.

Health and Comfort Advantages:

  • Improved Hygiene: Integrated bidet features provide a superior clean compared to traditional paper.
  • Hands-Free Operation: Motion-activated lids and automated flushing reduce the spread of germs on high-touch surfaces.
  • Heated Seats: A significant comfort boost during those rare but cold North Texas winter snaps.
  • Self-Cleaning Technology: Many smart toilets use electrolyzed water or UV light to kill bacteria and prevent mineral scale from sticking to the bowl.

Verified Quality and Warranty Protection

Mother installs quality brands like Kohler, American Standard, and TOTO. Every model we choose is WaterSense certified. This means it meets strict EPA rules for efficiency while still providing a powerful flush.

Most like-for-like toilet replacement in Fort Worth does not require a city permit. However, we still follow every local code to ensure your home is safe. We stand behind our work with a labor warranty that covers the seal and the stability of the install.

You get a clean bathroom, a fixed price, and a toilet that is built to last in the Fort Worth environment.

FAQs: Toilet Replacement in Fort Worth

  • What is a "comfort height" toilet? These units sit about 17 to 19 inches high, which is similar to a standard chair. They are much easier on the knees and back compared to the 15-inch standard height found in older homes.
  • Can you install a bidet seat on my existing toilet? Usually, yes. As long as you have a standard-shaped bowl and access to a water connection, we can upgrade your current fixture with a high-quality bidet seat.
  • Why does my new toilet still clog? If a new, high-performance toilet is clogging, the problem is likely deeper in your sewer line. We can perform a camera inspection to see if shifting clay soil or tree roots are blocking the path.
