Grant did a great job replacing our sink valves and toilet! He was very patient in answering our questions and walking us through pricing and options.

We booked with Mother Modern as first time home buyers and needed emergency shutoff valves replaced throughout our house as it hadn’t been updated since it was built. Grant showed up on time, was knowledgeable and thorough with his initial inspection and attentive to our budget when we talked about the project and the house. We will definitely be using them again!

We have lived in our home for 10 years and we knew one day sadly our cast iron would have to be replaced. I noticed more and more homes having this process done. When our home failed a pressure test for foundation adjustment, I started looking into companies to inspect the old system with a camera, all showed and I saw failed cast iron pipes. The next step was getting bids, OMG sticker shock, once we we reviewed our proposal's and understood the scope of work, the choice wasn't hard. Mother was the one we chose. Jessie was understanding and very knowledgeable and worked with us on the final price. My wife and I were really amazed with how fast they started digging, the dig crew were really good, very professional and very hard working. Jerry the plumber and his helper Conner, were unbelievable with the amount of time they put in everyday redoing all the sewer lines on our home. Jerry is dedicated to a standard of workmanship that you don't run into much these days, sadly. When Jerry was finished with his part the dig crew, Castillo Excavations, were amazing to watch them reverse the dig out process. What dirt didn't go back in was removed from the job site, not my headache thank God. Overall these guys were a good choice and yes it was more than I wanted to spend, but no regrets. I had a great experience with Mother Modern plumbing from inquiring about service on the phone with Gabby through installation with Joe. Dillion came out and scoped our project and gave us a bid right then. Joe came out the same day and installed my kitchen sink, faucet, cleared blockage and installed bathroom sink all before 4 pm and in time to cook thanksgiving dinner. The whole team was a breeze to work with and they explained everything which I appreciate! I signed up for the membership and will use them for my hot water heater in a few months and future projects. Thank you!!

We had a leak in our wall. Josh and Grant were both professional and fantastic!! Josh diagnosed the problem and Grant came and worked quickly to fix the issue. Would highly recommend these guys!

Called modern plumbing and explained that the city of Dallas required an inspection to turn on the gas, and Mel explained the process thoroughly. Mario came out next day, explained to me the process of certifying our gas fixtures and gas lines and making sure it would pass the pressure test. Spent a good hour and a half ensuring a successful inspection by the city. Furthermore, Mel was instrumental in dealing with the city inspector as he asked questions. Very professional company, relieved me of dealing with the stress of dealing with the city of Dallas. Problem solved by the Grace of God. Thank you Jesus!

Fast and easy with great communication!

Joe and Bryan came out and fixed my water heater in addition to educating me on things a home owner should know. They took a huge stressor off my plate, work was fast and communication was amazing.

Mother plumbing responded immediately after my request. We had what we thought was an outside pipe leak but ended up being a slab leak. Tyler and Grant were assigned and within 3 business days the leak was identified, water line rerouted and we are back to normal. Grant and an assistant performed most the work and were great! Jerry and Mario installed a new hot water heater and ran a new water line with minimal disruption and cleaned everything up when done. They do excellent work and I would recommend them.

Josh was able to quickly resolve my clogged drain issue just by running his camera line through my clean out. He also ran his camera through my other clean out. We were both able to see real time that there were no breaks in my cast-iron sewer lines. He answered all my questions about potential options in repairing my 47 year-old sewer line in the future. Josh also took a look at a leaky shower handle. I had in my bathroom and gave me a recommendation on how I could fix it myself. I highly recommend Mother Modern Plumbing.

Cotton was outstanding in his professional approach as we met. He explained what he would do and explained the cost. He went right to work once I gave him the ok. Our project was to clean the bath tub drain. The job was completed quickly and the drain is clear. I’m happy to recommend Cotton Stanley for his professional friendly outstanding work. Mother’s plumbing is fortunate to have Cotton as an employee representing their company. I will definitely call for him again if we have any plumbing issues in the future.

And Josh came out to my house and asked her plumber anyway my worst nightmares came to light it's an old house in Farmers Branch built in 69.He confirmed it was the cast iron pipes that corroded. I feel confident and he was very knowledgeable for what I need to do next. The company was great punctual on time and friendly recommend them highly

He did a couple of extra things to help me and I really appreciated that. He removed the faucet set for us and gave us Suggestions on manufacturers with the best warranty in reputations. We had Dillon come quote us for a brand new water heater. I was SO impressed with how knowledgable this master plumber was. We’ve had multiple quotes come by and NOBODY flagged 2 very pivotal issues we have going on. He showed us pictures of these issues and how this can be detrimental to our health and risk to our house. With him explaining plus the pictures - made me understand the true importance of it- and not a sales gimmick by implanting fear in a customer. Had a very trusting conversation (which plumbing dosnt necessarily have the rep for this) but so glad I called. Best experience I’ve had since moved to Dallas.

Dillon Ashton was my literal hero today. I called Mother Plumbing to get a second opinion on another plumber’s work, and I’m 💯 sure that Dylan and Mother Plumbing will save us thousands of dollars in the work we need done. But while he was inspecting our gas lines, my sweet little dog escaped. I was beside myself but Dylon went above and beyond to help me find my dog and get him home. Pretty sure we’ll be using this company for the long run.

Had a water heater that needed replacing. Joe and Brian showed up at 5PM and stuck around until the job was done. We were able to give our daughter a bath that night thanks to them. Install was 6 days ago, and so far there’s no indication that our house will flood or explode, which we also appreciate. Thanks y’all!

We were in the midst of remodeling a bathroom when we ran into a problem which required some of the existing plumbing be replaced. We thought this might involve cutting out a piece of the wall behind the shower. Colton came and assessed the problem, got the required materials, and fixed it very quickly. He found a way to do it without cutting into the wall which we really liked! Colton was professional, friendly, and did a great job!! We'll definitely call him again for our plumbing needs.

Dillon came out today and did a thorough check if my gas system for leaks. Although there was nothing obvious he did twiddle with something on the water heater and advised me of proper settings. Jesse, Joe and Bryan did a great job addressing several problems with our plumbing. We replaced the main sewer outlet and water service connections at the house wall and corrected other issues in the bathroom. Things were explained well and they were courteous and did a great job.

Want to give a HUGE shoutout to Matthew Silkwood and Jesse Crane! Through the year into our house, we bought for the history of the neighborhood and the architecture. Trying to keep the house in shape I’ve learned to keep one thing to keep in mind, picking businesses who you are going to keep in your back pocket because the integrity and the immense knowledge they carry. Plumbing issues are aren’t fun, Jesse came out and made it easy to digest information and adding to our knowledge of home owning. Showed me every crevasse of our plumbing and highlighted areas of repairs and sat us down and built a plan. You can tell this business adds value from treating you with a welcoming smile and clean look to getting to see the dirty and destruction of your plumbing issues. Truly amazed how easy this was.
