Replaced two toilets, one had issues with broken flange which cost more due to added labor/ time and (Chris) updated me before doing any of the work. Very transparent, responsive to texted and phone calls, on time, and would reccomend to others.

Mother Plumbing installed two toilets and three faucets for me two months ago. Since then, there have been no leaks or wobbles, which speaks to the quality of their work. Check out the picture of the wall mounted toilet. They also coordinated well with my carpenters to get everything done efficiently and on schedule. I did forget to ask them to adjust the temperature governor on the shower, but overall, I’m very happy with the results. I highly recommend Mother Plumbing

We needed a toilet replaced. Called Mother! This was our first experience with them. Excellent communications and customer service! Scheduling was easy, gave a 2-hour window for arrival, and Josh arrived on time for both visits; was very professional. During the install he took care not to damage floor/walls and did a great job. Highly recommend this company!

Very impressed with this company. Tyler was the technician that initially came out and recommended that I replace a toilet that wasn’t working well. Since the other toilets were old and some parts starting to show wear, I also decided to replace them. The next day, Bryan came out and replaced three toilets. He did a super job and left the work areas spotless. I would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs

A plumber in Keller smiles in front of a blue and pink "Mother Modern Plumbing" van outside Keller Town Hall at 110 Bear Creek Parkway.

That toilet running for 30 seconds after every flush isn't just annoying - it's dumping money down the drain while you're trying to get the kids out the door for Saturday tournaments.

Mother replaces toilets across Keller with efficient, long-lasting models sized for your bathroom. Our licensed plumbers complete most installations in under two hours. Same-day service available. Transparent pricing before we touch a wrench - no surprises, no shady markups for "high-end zips".

Call Mother now for new toilet installs and smart toilet upgrades.

Warning Signs Your Keller Toilet Needs Replacement

Builder-grade fixtures installed in Hidden Lakes, Marshall Ridge, and Brentwood Estates during the late 1990s and early 2000s are hitting their expiration date right now - and when one bathroom shows symptoms, the others in the same home usually aren't far behind.

  • Persistent running that only stops when you manually adjust the flapper. Past a certain point, new flappers and fill valves are treating symptoms on a fixture that's past saving.
  • Multiple flushes required to clear the bowl. The internal trapway has narrowed from two decades of mineral buildup. This doesn't improve.
  • Hairline cracks in the tank or bowl. Porcelain under constant thermal and pressure stress propagates cracks until it fails - sometimes catastrophically. This is not a wait-and-see situation.
  • Wobbling at the base. The wax ring seal is compromised, and sewer gas is seeping into your bathroom. This also means water is working its way into your subfloor with every flush.
  • Water pooling around the floor connection. That water is actively rotting the subfloor beneath your feet.

A cracked toilet or a failed wax ring seal isn't a repair situation - it's a replacement situation. We've seen both flood bathrooms and damage ceilings below when homeowners waited too long.

What Keller's Hard Water Does to Toilets

Your water comes from Fort Worth and runs 5 to 10 grains per gallon hardness. Calcium and magnesium deposits build up inside your toilet tank every single day. After 10 to 12 years in Keller, that accumulation destroys internal components well ahead of schedule.

The flapper is usually the first casualty. Mineral scale coats the sealing surface and prevents a watertight close. Water trickles continuously into the bowl. The fill valve runs constantly to compensate. Your water bill climbs while flush performance drops.

The calcification also builds inside the trapway - the internal drain passage. That's why a toilet that flushed cleanly for years suddenly needs two or three attempts. The passage diameter shrinks as scale accumulates, and no amount of cleaning reverses it once it's advanced.

Replacing flappers and fill valves every 18 months is a cycle many Keller homeowners know well. At some point, replacement costs less than the next three service calls.

Builder-Grade Fixtures Are Costing You Money

The toilets installed in your 1998 build are using 3.5 to 5 gallons per flush. Modern WaterSense toilets use 1.28 gallons or less.

For a family of four flushing five times daily, that gap adds up to as much as 13,000 gallons saved per year. In Keller, where water rates continue to climb, that's a real number on your annual statement.

Builder-grade fixtures were designed to pass inspection and keep construction costs down - not to perform for 25 years in hard water conditions. You've been paying for that original decision ever since.

Smart Toilets and Bidet Installations in Keller

Homeowners in Rancho Serena, Spyglass Hill, and Concordia have been driving demand for smart toilet and bidet installations - and it's easy to understand why. A toilet replacement is a natural moment to upgrade rather than replace like-for-like, and the products available today are a significant step up from anything a production builder installed in 2001.

Mother installs smart toilets and bidet seats from the brands worth buying:

  • TOTO - The Washlet and Neorest lines set the standard for integrated smart toilet design. Heated seats, adjustable spray, auto-open and close lids, and TOTO's Tornado Flush technology, which is engineered specifically for hard water performance.
  • Kohler - The Intelligent and Veil collections bring voice-activated controls, UV self-cleaning, and customizable user profiles in designs that work across a range of bathroom aesthetics.
  • Woodbridge - A strong value option in the smart toilet category. Woodbridge units deliver heated seats, warm air drying, and bidet functionality at a price point that makes the upgrade accessible without compromising on features.
  • Bio Bidet - For homeowners who want bidet functionality without replacing the full toilet, Bio Bidet seats install on your existing fixture and deliver adjustable water temperature, pressure, and position controls.

Smart toilet installation requires a grounded electrical outlet near the toilet location. Most Keller bathrooms in newer construction have this already. If yours doesn't, Mother can coordinate the electrical work before installation.

What to Expect During Toilet Replacement

Mother's licensed plumbers complete most toilet replacements in under two hours. If we say 9 AM, we're there at 9 AM.

Floor protection first. Drop cloths from the entry to the bathroom before anything else is touched.

Shut off, drain, and remove. Water supply is shut off, the existing fixture is fully drained, and the old toilet - tank and bowl - leaves on our truck.

Flange and subfloor inspection. This is the step that separates a professional installation from a future callback. The closet flange anchors your toilet to the drain pipe and subfloor. In Keller homes on slab foundations, that flange has absorbed two decades of Tarrant County clay movement. If it's corroded, cracked, or sitting below floor level, we replace it before the new toilet goes in. We also check for subfloor damage from water that worked past a failed wax ring. Better to find it now than after the new fixture is set.

If we find significant flange or subfloor damage, we explain your options clearly before proceeding. No surprises.

New wax ring, new supply line, new fixture. We set and level the new toilet with proper bolt torque, connect the supply with a new braided stainless line, and run multiple flush cycles before calling the job complete.

Cleanup and walkthrough. The work area is cleaned, the old fixture is gone, and we walk you through operation before we leave.

Toilet Brands Mother Installs in Keller

Keller homeowners regularly ask us to install Kohler, American Standard, TOTO, and Woodbridge toilets - brands engineered for longevity in hard water environments.

We match bowl height, rough-in dimension, and flush performance to your actual bathroom before anything is ordered. Older Keller homes sometimes have non-standard 10-inch or 14-inch rough-ins rather than the standard 12-inch. We measure first to ensure proper fit.

Comfort height and ADA-height options are available across all brands for households where standard height isn't the right fit.

Not trying to wait? Our trucks are fully stocked with reputable products you trust.

Permits and Warranty

Standard toilet replacement in Keller does not require a permit for a like-for-like fixture swap without modifying supply lines or drainage. If flange issues require drain work, Mother handles any necessary permits through the City of Keller.

Every installation is backed by Mother's workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties are honored on all fixtures we install. If something fails because of our work, we fix it.

Replace It Before It Becomes an Emergency

Your home runs a full schedule. A failing toilet is a logistics problem that ripples through your entire week - and a cracked bowl or a rotted subfloor turns a two-hour replacement into a multi-day project.

Mother understands Keller's homes. We know the boom-era fixtures are hitting end of life across the city right now, and we know your water runs hard and your schedule runs tight.

Whether you're replacing a builder-grade fixture that's finally done, upgrading to a smart toilet in a Rancho Serena master bath, or adding a bidet seat to an existing fixture, Mother completes the job same-day with no surprises on price.
