Slab Leak Repair in Little Elm

This was a difficult situation. We had broken pipes in the slab, both hot side and cold side. I got quotes from some reputable plumbers and the numbers for exploratory repair or replacement were significantly outside my budget. Mothers came to the rescue by re-plumbing the entire supply side of our two story home at fraction of the cost of the other quotes. They were professional, timely, and took every curve ball that my old house threw at them with a smile and NO UP CHARGE! I will be a Mother Modern Plumbing customer for life, they have earned my loyalty.

Steven helped us nail down the source of an intermittent slab leak. He clearly communicated what the problem was and what our options were to solve it. He was able to limit drywall cuts to relatively small openings in the garage, and left the area spotless when he was done. Will definitely call Mother again whenever we have plumbing needs.

I had a slab leak and the recommended repair was to reroute the water line through the attic. Matthew and his assistant were very competent and professional. It took them about 5 hours, they had to verify where the leak was and then cut 3 holes in the sheet rock in the pantry and a bedroom, then run the new line. When they left, there was no mess in the bedroom, kitchen, and garage. They replaced all items they had to take out, swept and mopped the floors. I would definitely use them again.

We had issues with hot and cold water. Joe and Luke diagnosed it very quickly, picked up the part and got the job done. They also installed a new faucet in the kitchen. All work was very professional, quick and reasonably priced. We were very pleased.

Mother Modern Plumbing did a phenomenal job for my family. We had a pipe bust on the outside wall that flooded three rooms in our home. I made one phone call and Steven was here in less than one hour and had it fixed and repaired. I was so impressed with the response I asked them for another quote to replace the water heaters in my attic and some other things around the house. He provided a quote and I approved Steven knocked out the extra items on the list while he was here. Today (1-31-25) Matthew Hoy came to install the two water heaters and was very courteous, professional and took the time to explain everything. He did an excellent job. The work is professionally installed and looks great! I highly recommend using Mother Modern Plumbing! I can assure you they will be my to go to plumbing company from now on.

S and D Plumbing Company under the direction of Joe Stailey came to my house soon after I called about a water/slab leak in the kitchen. After stopping the water flow they began a well organized series of steps to set up removal of leaking water heater, to reroute all hot water lines, to remove damaged wood and insulation and to setup fans. They are conducting daily inspections to monitor drying and will replace all damaged structures. Wonderful, complete repairs with great customer communication.

Mother plumbing responded immediately after my request. We had what we thought was an outside pipe leak but ended up being a slab leak. Tyler and Grant were assigned and within 3 business days the leak was identified, water line rerouted and we are back to normal. Grant and an assistant performed most the work and were great! After blowing out my water heater, I called Mother Modern Plumbing to replace it. In the process after a discussion with Marcus, we determined I had a sub slab leak. Marcus and later Mario and the appropriate apprentices determined exactly where the leak was and provided me with a few different solutions they could use to fix it. They worked diligently and were professional in their dealings with me. They explained to every step and worked for over four days to find the leak. I especially appreciate Marcus who listened to an aside I made to him about hot water being too readily available at that faucet and determined I had a leak. He paid attention to what I said and realized I had a problem larger than just replacing a hot water heater. Leak detection under a slab is a challenging process and they worked hard to find it. Had he not listened and been so attentive, I would’ve continued to have a problem, possibly ruining the new water heater and foundation problems in the future. While this was not cheap, it would’ve been a lot more expensive to have to repair a foundation. I am thankful that Marcus and Mario were diligent in finding this leak installing a new hot water heater and bypassing my sub slab leak. I will use this company again, not because they were the cheapest but because they listened and found a problem beyond just what was in front of them. In the long run, it saved me a bunch of money.

Once again Mother Modern Plumbing is the Company for you. We had a leak last night, and I called them 1st thing this morning and they came out as soon as possible. We normally use Willy, but Adam Diaz stepped in and did an outstanding job for us. This company is my 1# Plumbing Company. Not long ago, they had to come out and fix a hugh leak in the walls and that's where it all begin. Then they came out and drained our water heater. Grant Baker and his team did amazing job from start to finish. Grant quickly diagnosed my issue and answered all of my questions. They were out pretty quickly from the moment I called Mother due to an emergency. He was very knowledgable, professional and accommodated my family as they completed their work. They replaced all of the water lines in my home in less than a day and a half.

Very pleased with the educated experience and type of rerouting of cold water lines through the attic. So far, so good. I'm impressed with the clean up of the project. I wanted to keep them on for more cleanup.

We had a slab leak on the hot water side and opted to have the house repiped. While it took a little longer than planned the work was top notch and they always kept us in the loop.

For someone with enough plumbing experience of installing one sink faucet, SND plumbing was a blessing to my wife and I. It all started with the gurgling of the toilet, then the sewer backed up, shower back up. We hired three plumbers before calling SND all to have the problem coming right back after just a few weeks. SND was my second plumbers my first just could not get the job done I called SND truly professional they knocked out a huge tunneling job and replumbing the whole house in a week I was amazed. They will be my plumbers from now on out
