I am in awe of just how wonderful mother modern plumbing company was. From the first person to the last person you guys are professional, efficient, honest, and speedy. Not only things that make a great business, but their team also has integrity and heart. Dustin, Steven, Jerry, and connor plus the excavating team went above and beyond the scope of their required jobs. They were there to fix a leak under our foundation that had been quoted a ridiculous number by another company so we went with Mother after they came out to do a second opinion with no fee. They also helped me install a showerhead and filter that has been sitting in my home for over a year. Then after all the work was done at the end of the night Connor saw myself and my 78 year old grandmother struggling to move some furniture offered to assist us. The kicker was during a follow up call to see how the job went and I mentioned in passing that my daughter's bday was that day. THEY SENT HER A GIFT FOR HER BDAY. No one does that! Mother modern does tho! I have already recommended mother modern plumbing to 3 people one of which just had a leak happen a few days ago.

We used Mother Plumbing to repipe our entire home from cast iron to pvc as well as to fix a slab leak for a family of 7 home. Both were costly and worrisome. We couldn’t be happier or feel safer with any other company. From beginning to end Mother has proven their reliability, honesty, extensive knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Not only have they done impeccable work, but their work ethic, personal and social responsibility standards that they uphold is beyond anything we’ve ever seen or experienced from any company we’ve worked with. There are no tricks, no games, what they say is exactly what they do and charge, there are no added fees after the fact. We had several unplanned situations come up and they worked quickly and didn’t upcharge a single thing they quoted from the first estimate. SND Plumbing is fantastic! And working with Steve was great. We had a sewage line break in the front yard. Steve came out and found the break in short order. He then gave me the option of digging the hole to get to it and save $1,300. So, I did it which was great. They then came out and made the repair and filled in the hole at no additional charge which was awesome! Steve and SND will be our plumbers going forward!

Steven put the new sewer lines for converting septic to city. The process went smooth. He was patient to explain all of our questions and concerns. Based on this experience, we had him work on other things at home. Highly recommend Steven for any plumbing needs!

SND crew were timely and professional

SND was my second plumbers my first just could not get the job done I called SND truly professional they knocked out a huge tunneling job and replumbing the whole house in a week I was amazed. They will be my plumbers from now on out

We recently used Mother Modern Plumbing for a yard sewer repair and we were very impressed with their professionalism, efficiency and fair prices. Steven arrived on time, clearly explained the issue and provided me an estimate. The job was completed on one day, it required lots of digging and the weather was cold about 34. This was our first time using them but it won’t be the last.

I had to have all of my cast iron drains replaced ☠️ As of this review all of the plumbing is completed in just under 1 week, pending the backfill. Everyone I worked with including Steven, Tyler, the excavation crew and Joe and Tyler were great to work with. They were extremely patient with my questions, thorough with information and even fixed some other minor plumbing work not directly related to the drain pipe issue before they left. Everyone worked hard, showed up on time, and were as clean as possible given they had to be laying in mud most of the time. I really appreciate everyone's hard work and dedication. You may finder lower quotes but I couldn't expect any better of care and work than what I received and that matters. Overall 5 stars to Mother Modern Plumbing......but 0/10 recommend buying a house with cast iron drain pipes in DFW 😂😭

Want to give a HUGE shoutout to Matthew Silkwood and Jesse Crane! Through the year into our house, we bought for the history of the neighborhood and the architecture. Trying to keep the house in shape I’ve learned to keep one thing to keep in mind, picking businesses who you are going to keep in your back pocket because the integrity and the immense knowledge they carry. Plumbing issues are aren’t fun, Jesse came out and made it easy to digest information and adding to our knowledge of home owning. Showed me every crevasse of our plumbing and highlighted areas of repairs and sat us down and built a plan. You can tell this business adds value from treating you with a welcoming smile and clean look to getting to see the dirty and destruction of your plumbing issues. Truly amazed how easy this was. Mothers are your people you rely on. 10/5 stars

And Josh came out to my house and asked her plumber anyway my worst nightmares came to light it's an old house in Farmers Branch built in 69.He confirmed it was the cast iron pipes that corroded. We have lived in our home for 10 years and we knew one day sadly our cast iron would have to be replaced. I noticed more and more homes having this process done. When our home failed a pressure test for foundation adjustment, I started looking into companies to inspect the old system with a camera, all showed and I saw failed cast iron pipes. The next step was getting bids, OMG sticker shock, once we we reviewed our proposal's and understood the scope of work, the choice wasn't hard. Mother was the one we chose. Jessie was understanding and very knowledgeable and worked with us on the final price. My wife and I were really amazed with how fast they started digging, the dig crew were really good, very professional and very hard working. Jerry the plumber and his helper Conner, were unbelievable with the amount of time they put in everyday redoing all the sewer lines on our home. Jerry is dedicated to a standard of workmanship that you don't run into much these days, sadly. When Jerry was finished with his part the dig crew, Castillo Excavations, were amazing to watch them reverse the dig out process. What dirt didn't go back in was removed from the job site, not my headache thank God. Overall these guys were a good choice and yes it was more than I wanted to spend, but no regrets. This company is fantastic. Mothers diagnosed the issue as a broken waste water pipe after another company had misdiagnosed the issue. It was an expensive repair but we did locate the broken cast iron pipe under the house. Now, not only is the new plumbing system working perfectly for over a month, but we don’t have to worry about the waste water that was seeping into our foundation. Every promise and expectation given was honored. Well worth the price. This is the way.

Bryan Mendez and his partner Zach were professional and did a great job of replacing my old galvanized sewer line and replacing it with PVC piping. I appreciate all their hard work and dedication to doing a good job.

I had my entire drainage system replaced by mother back in November of 2025. The initial technician that came out was friendly and gave me options to get my drains replaced. After further thought I went with replacing everything. That’s when Mario showed up and explained the entire process with transparency and full detail which really showed he is a true master of his line of work. A few months after I had an issue with a toilet and Mario came out again and found the issue with precision. Him and Steven came up with a great course of action to solve the issue and I will be glad to do the rest of the work at a later time. I am very pleased with the level of professionalism and expertise mother brings to the table. Great job guys!

Joe came out to do a sewer line replacement and some minor interior work. Excellent attention to detail and made sure I was aware of the schedule and all issues as they appeared! Super friendly!

We had a clog in a tricky section of pipe where three drains combined. Willy came out, triaged the problem quickly, and set up the repair. He was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the options. Then, when the repair crew was called away on an emergency, he returned and completed the repair himself to ensure our drains were fixed before the quoted time.

So glad I went with Mother Modern Plumbing! Rachel and Gabby in the office were super quick to respond and kept me updated. I also loved that they send a picture and bio of the tech before they arrive—it made me feel way more comfortable knowing who was coming to the door. Michael B. and Adam D. were awesome, friendly, and professional. Michael checked in on us during the fix, and Adam did most of the heavy lifting. We had a sewer ejector pump that needed to be replaced. Adam gave stellar service, staying late the first day and showing up early the next. He really knew his stuff and encouraged me to ask questions. I’m 100% confident they’ll stand behind their warranty. Highly recommend these guys!

Tyler was great and explained everything thoroughly when I had to replace my 85 year old main sewer line. The guys came to dig on Christmas, even. Matt came the day after Christmas to put in the new line and had it up and running in less than 2 hours. Great work!

Had Jesse Crane come do a sewer line scope and quote some plumbing issues found during a home inspection. Jesse fixed a few easy items on the spot that others less honest plumbers would have found a way to charge for. In running the sewer line scope, he found two breaks in the line to the city main and took the time to explain and show damages on the video monitor. Not able to scope under the house from ground level due to the break in the line, he made extra effort to get on the roof to scope from a different route. This guy is a true professional. Honest, knowledgable, patient and friendly. Definitely on my first-to-call list.

Having to get a plumber is never ideal. However, if you do, you need to call SND. I made a mistake from the beginning and didn't call them. I engaged with a competitor who hosed me for thousands and the problems were still not fixed. I had to call SND to save the day and indeed they did. Not only are they so kind, professional, but honest and informative. Their experience is prevalent as they are problem solving and they don't just throw a dart at a board in hopes it is the problem. They educate you as they are going throughout the job. They had a big job to do by replacing the sewer lines under the house. They were thousands less then their competitors for they don't work on 28% commission like Shrader Plumbing does. Their technology was fantastic and didn't disrupt one plant, after having to dig a lot of dirt out from under the house. Their whole team made you feel comfortable and by the end of the job, they became family. I had a concern after their work was complete and he was out the next day, troubleshooting, and there ended up being nothing to fix, but their commitment was validated. Save yourself time with no hardships by calling them. I don't give these reviews are lightly, but you will thank me later.

Ben came out to give us an estimate and help us locate a sewer leak. He was incredibly thorough, personable and transparent. He answered every question and was very tidy, on time and above all, professional.

I've been using plumbers for decades for both commercial and residential projects and have to say these folks are the best I've ever worked with. Their technician was prompt, had all the necessary equipment and knowledge to clear the sewer line problem we had. And, he did it in less that an hour. Plus he didn't try to sell unneeded services or pad the bill. I couldn't be happier and have already recommended Mother to another friend. Jesse, Joe and Bryan did a great job addressing several problems with our plumbing. We replaced the main sewer outlet and water service connections at the house wall and corrected other issues in the bathroom. Things were explained well and they were courteous and did a great job.

Really appreciate the diligence and ownership our plumber, Bryan, took to repair our collapsed sewer line. He worked late into the evening on multiple days to complete the repair, provided a partial interim solution while the repair was in progress, and stayed on top of the City of Dallas inspector and repair offices to encourage the city to complete their side of repairs. Feel like he genuinely cared about restoring water usage to our house as quickly as possible. More competitively priced than one other mainstream service provider we quoted. Will definitely use again if a need arises!

We had several broken sewer pipes under our house causing problems with our foundation. We hired Mother's Modern Plumbing to completely re-route our entire sewer system to run underneath our lawn deleting all of the pipes underneath the foundation. Tyler explained the entire process clearly and gave an accurate timeline for completion. Mauricio and his crew did an excellent job. He kept us informed about his progress and what he planned to accomplish the next day. We had a slight issue with our sprinkler system after the job was completed which is understandable considering all of the tunneling and trenching that was required. Tyler sent someone out right away to fix the issue. We are very satisfied with the end result. Everyone involved did an excellent job.

What started as a clogged sink turned into replacing the sewer line, which I was not thrilled about, but they made the whole process way easier than I expected. Everyone involved was very professional. They explained and showed evidence of exactly what needed to be done. They showed up when they said they would, and kept me in the loop the whole time. The office was also really good about communicating who would be coming and when. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The crew they brought in for digging and refilling the trench did a great job too, and everything seemed really well coordinated between them and the guys overseeing the job. When they were done, they actually took the time to put the yard back together, with care getting it back as closely as possible how it looked before, which included relaying some sod! I have nothing but great things to say! Steven Dickson took his time and was so thorough. We’ve had a leak under our house from our bathtub which is terrible to go through and he made the process so smooth. He also helped with a problem completely unrelated regarding constantly having back ups. We were previously given a quote from Ernie’s plumbing and were advised we need our pipes completely redone and was quoted over $40,000. Steven was able to use a camera down our pipes in the front and determined that it was roots growing through them and that it was only going to cost a little over $4000 which is still a lot but much more doable than what Ernie’s quoted. I will definitely be using Mother Modern for future issues.

For someone with enough plumbing experience of installing one sink faucet, SND plumbing was a blessing to my wife and I. It all started with the gurgling of the toilet, then the sewer backed up, shower back up. We hired three plumbers before calling SND all to have the problem coming right back after just a few weeks. SND was the only one that finally took the time, investigated and worked with us to determine the real cause. We had to replace our entire plumbing system underneath the foundation, and SND did a wonderful job. Five major wins I'd like to point out when we worked with Steven at SND: 1) Punctual. Steven showed up when he said he would. Sent communications and quotes to us when he said he would. 2) Patience. Steven took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all the questions in detail so we had a clear picture of what was going on, and the best and worst-case scenarios. 3) Honesty. Steven could have patched up something or gave us a temporary solution and make a quick buck. But instead, he strongly nudged us to get a foundation inspection first to help identify the true cause of the problem. He wanted to FIX IT for the next 15+ years instead of just something temporary. 3) Considerate. Not only it was a messy job to us and the tenants (trenching, digging, crawling under the foundation, all while it was raining), there were hours where we couldn't turn on the water or flush the toilets. Steven worked with us and my tenants closely to make sure we knew what to expect and when, so we could plan accordingly ahead of time. 4) Fair pricing. We did compare different quotes. SND's pricing was very reasonable 5) Confidence. By interacting with SND ahead of the project, it gave us the confidence that they were the right choice. SND is also confident with the quality of their work, so they applied many years of warranty to this large project. Thanks Steve and SND!
