Jerry was fantastic both times he came to our home. He kept us informed, and was constantly at work. He was professional in every manner. We had a big project and other companies sent men out to look at the job. Jerry immediately grabbed a shovel and started working, even knowing he was at risk of not earning anything doing so. WOW. Mother Plumbing gave us the best treatment in the office as well. Matthew is very good to deal with. Pleasant and professional. I’m very hard to please, and these guys did the job!

I rarely recommend contractors because, to be honest, I'm afraid they'll get too busy to help me when I need them! But I have to make an exception for SND Plumbing. I've owned countless proprties between homes, farm, and ranch properties. I've dealt with countless contractors over the years, and Mother Plumbing stands out as exceptional. I had an emergency on a Sunday and called them. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation by sending someone unqualified and charging me a ridiculous price. This wasn't a simple fix, either. It involved manually digging in the mud, lots of wet mud, to find a leak in the city water intake, and then pumping out excess subsurface water, which took nearly 20 hours. Rick, from SND Plumbing, was incredibly professional, and willing to get his hands dirty (very dirty), He returned the next day to complete the subsurface repair and thoroughly test the connection to ensure it was secure, resilient and capable of transporting water at normal operating pressures (70-80 psi). Mother Plumbing were the most polite, efficient, and productive plumbing company I've ever worked with. I highly recommend their services. And, while they continue to prosper and grow, I pray they remember me! Best Always, Brynn TX Thunder Ranch Haslet TX

I've used Steven and Mother twice now. The first repair was one we had a long-time coming. We had to dig up half the yard and the driveway and fix three different breaks in the main line that existed for too long. Steven explained everything clearly, charged a fair price, and his communication is excellent. The second job was replacing our water heater. Again, excellent job. Highly recommend!

My water would not shut off for my bathtub. I had to shut the water off to the whole house. Mother replied to my FB post quickly and added me for same day service. They fixed my faucet, super friendly and fair pricing.

Jerry does very thorough work and pays great attention to details. My house had a bad pressure regulator and he not only replaced the broken parts but improved the entire manner of the plumbing in front of our house to bring it up to and surpass code.

I had a great experience with Mother's Modern Plumbing! I had to have a waterline pipe repaired between my sidewalk and a very large tree in my yard. My Tech was Mathew van Horn. He assessed what needed to be done and offered me several options. Both priced very reasonable and beat other quotes by several thousand dollars.. Matthew and his crew started working on this a few days later. Before his crew started, Mathew came to the door and explained exactly what would be done that day. When they were done for the day, he came back and told me they were leaving and what would be done the next day. It took 3 days to complete. His crew took extra care when chopping through the roots of my 35 year old tree. They were able to dig inder my driveway instead of having to cut through the concrete, so greatful for that. Before the crew left each day the worksite was cleared of any trash and caution tape and a board were used for safety. I also like the fact everyone had Mother's uniforms on and drove trucks with the company name on them. It was a 100% great experience! Shout out to Dustin, the owner of the company, for helping me make the right decision and giving them a chance. You have my future business, Dustin!!

Let me start by saying I rarely write reviews, but after my experience with the team at Mother Modern Plumbing, I felt it was absolutely necessary to share. I had an emergency at one of my rental properties in Fort Worth when the main water line broke and started flooding the yard. I was referred to Mother Modern Plumbing, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I called them. Within an hour of reaching out, Dustin contacted me and quickly sent out Jesse, who was not only professional but incredibly reassuring. He jumped right in, identified the issue, and clearly explained multiple repair options. That level of transparency and expertise immediately gave me peace of mind. I ultimately chose to move forward with Mother Modern Plumbing because they didn’t just beat the pricing of two other companies I spoke with — they genuinely cared. The staff showed urgency, respect, and a willingness to do whatever it took to resolve the problem quickly. From start to finish, the entire process was handled with timeliness, efficiency, and professionalism. Mother Modern Plumbing has absolutely earned my trust, and they’ll be my go-to plumbing company moving forward. Dustin and Jesse, thank you — my family and I truly appreciate your hard work! — Eric Torres

Great customer service and excellent communication. Josh coordinated the project and kept us informed at all times. Jerry and Mario installed a new hot water heater and ran a new water line with minimal disruption and cleaned everything up when done. They do excellent work and I would recommend them.

Water Line Repair and Replacement in Frisco: Modern Pipe Restoration

A soggy patch in your front yard or a water bill that doubled is a sign of a system failure. Many older Frisco homes have aging water lines stressed by decades of exposure to hard water, mineral scale and shifting clay soil.

In neighborhoods like Stonebriar, homes built before 1990 often have original pipes that are now reaching their limit. You deserve a water line of a higher, more enduring quality that can handle the local environment without constant patching.

Mother Modern Plumbing provides professional repair and full replacement for failing underground water lines.

Frisco’s Specialist for Precision Water Line Fixes and PEX-A Upgrades. Master Plumber Oversight, 6-Year Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty, and Fixed-Rate Pricing.

Call Mother 24/7 to schedule water line repair and installation service in Frisco.

Clear Indicators of a Water Line Break or Collapse

  • Sudden water bill spikes: Your bill shows a massive jump in usage even though your family has not changed its habits.
  • Low water pressure everywhere: You notice a weak flow in every shower and sink, which means water is escaping before it reaches your home.
  • Puddles in the yard: You see standing water between your meter and your house, even when it hasn't rained.
  • Rusty water in Starwood: In older homes near the golf course, brown water at the tap often means galvanized steel lines are rusting from the inside.
  • Recurring pinhole leaks: Your plumber has patched the same line twice, which is a sign of material fatigue.

Technical Accuracy and a Forever Fix

We don’t just "patch a hole." Mother provides a full technical audit of your underground water system. We use modern materials and methods to ensure your home's water supply is stable for the next thirty years.

  • 6-Year Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty: We stand behind our work with a long-term guarantee. This covers all parts and labor for your new water line.
  • Modern Material Upgrades: We use thick-wall copper, PEX-A, or Schedule 40 PVC. These materials are much stronger than the underwhelming builder-grade options found in many homes.
  • We Do the Legwork: We manage the City of Frisco permit office for you. We pull the paperwork and ensure the final inspection clears on the first pass.

Frisco Water Lines vs. Local Climate and Geology

Our city presents unique local challenges to buried water lines- particularly caused by weather, chemical water treatments and shifting soil.

  • Extreme North Texas temperature swings, and the increased local frequency of freezing events. Frisco requires an 18-inch burial depth to combat this.
  • Chloramines in water. The NTMWD treats Frisco water with chloramine disinfectants. They’re safe to drink, but they eat away at older plastic pipes- especially polybutylene, common in 1980s-1990s builds.
  • Houston Black Clay. This expansive soil shrinks when cold or dry, and swells dramatically when wet. It puts the equivalent of 10,000 PSI of direct pressure on your buried lines.

We focus on these technical details to make sure your repair meets the modern Frisco Standard.

We See Water Line Problems In These Frisco Neighborhoods

  • Stonebriar: Many of these original custom homes feature polybutylene or thin copper lines from the late 1980s. These materials are now hitting their failure window. We specialize in migrating these homes to PEX-A infrastructure.
  • Starwood: Large lots and mature trees create a high risk for root damage. We use electronic sensors to find exactly where a tree root has moved a pipe joint.
  • Original Downtown / Main Street Area: These older properties often have galvanized steel lines. These pipes narrow over time due to mineral scale, which ruins your water pressure. We replace these with modern copper or PVC to restore full flow.

Choose a Lasting Solution Over a Quick Fix

A "cheap" repair on a main water line is a gamble. If the pipe is failing because of old age, a patch will only last a few months.

Mother Modern Plumbing provides a fixed upfront price for a permanent solution. This includes the high-quality materials, Master Plumber oversight, and the City of Frisco permit. You get the data and the protection your home deserves for the long term.

What to Expect During Mother’s Water Line Service

  • System Audit: We use electronic sensors and non-invasive equipment to find the exact location of the break and check your home's pressure levels.
  • Utility Mapping: We coordinate with the city to map out your gas and electric lines so they are protected during the work.
  • The Single Best Fix: We replace the damaged section or the entire line using materials like Type K copper or PEX-A.
  • Frisco Code Compliance: We ensure the new line is buried at the required 18-inch depth to prevent future freeze damage.
  • Inspection Coordination: We meet the Frisco city inspector at your home to get the final safety sign-off through the eTRAKiT system.
  • Red Carpet Treatment: We use double-boot covers and floor protection. We restore your yard and ensure your home is cleaner than we found it.

Water Line Solutions Rated to Last 50+ Years

A soggy yard and a high water bill are signs that your home's main water supply has failed. This problem will not go away on its own. It will only get more expensive as the water damages your soil and foundation.

Mother Modern Plumbing solves this by pinpointing the leak and installing a new line built for Frisco's environment. We handle the permit office and provide a 6-year warranty so you can stop worrying and enjoy a home that works perfectly.

FAQs About Frisco Water Line Services

  • Will you have to dig up my whole yard? In many cases, we can use trenchless methods. This only requires two small holes instead of a long trench.
  • How long does a new water line last? We use materials like PEX-A and copper that are rated to last 40 to 50 years.
  • Do I need a permit? Yes. The City of Frisco requires a permit for all water line work. Mother handles the paperwork and the inspector for you.

Located at the intersection of Legacy Drive and Main Street in northwest Frisco, this 150-acre multi-generational master-planned community features a diverse mix of townhomes, single-family homes, and senior living options built starting in 2015-2016. With properties now 8-10 years old, these modern homes feature contemporary PEX plumbing and efficient fixtures designed for today's lifestyles. As homes approach their first decade, original water heaters are entering their middle service years, making preventive maintenance like water heater flush services important for extending equipment life. The community's Founders Hall Amenity Center with two resort-style pools, cabanas, beer garden, and extensive canal system throughout the development require robust plumbing infrastructure, and we assist residents with water line repairs when needed. With Frisco's moderately hard water at 146.5 ppm, many homeowners proactively install whole-house water softeners and descaling services for tankless units to protect their investment. The smart home features common in these newer builds also make smart water shutoff valves a popular upgrade for tech-savvy residents.

Lawler Park

Situated in southeast Frisco with approximately 370 homes built between 2012 and 2015, this family-friendly community sits on lots ranging from 0.17 to 0.22 acres. These early-to-mid 2010s builds feature modern PEX plumbing systems that are now entering their second decade of service. With original water heaters approaching the 10-15 year replacement window, many homeowners are proactively upgrading to tankless water heater systems for improved efficiency and endless hot water supply. The community's jogging paths, bike trails, and neighborhood park with children's playground mean extensive outdoor water features that occasionally require water line repair services. We also assist residents with descaling tankless water heaters to combat hard water effects, and many homeowners opt for smart water shutoff valves for added protection.

The Shores At Waterstone

This gated lakeside community at Lebanon Road and Highway 423 features upscale homes built from 2006 through 2015 on lots ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 acres. The mix of mid-2000s and newer construction means plumbing systems vary from early PEX installations to more modern configurations. With the community's proximity to water features and extensive irrigation systems, yard leak detection becomes especially important for property maintenance. The larger estate-style homes often have multiple water-intensive features like pools and outdoor kitchens, making water line repair and water pressure testing common service needs. Many homeowners also invest in whole-home water filtration to protect their luxury fixtures and appliances from hard water effects.
